Terms of Service

BookApp Terms of Service (v1) 1. Who we are BookApp is a service-discovery and booking platform connecting customers with local service businesses ("Merchants") such as salons, spas, and barbershops. BookApp is the booking intermediary — the Merchant, not BookApp, provides the service you book. 2. Accounts You must provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials confidential. Merchants are independently responsible for the accuracy of their listing, pricing, and availability. 3. Bookings A booking is confirmed or placed pending merchant approval depending on the Merchant's settings. Cancellation and rescheduling are subject to each Merchant's stated cutoff windows, shown at booking time. Repeated no-shows may result in future bookings requiring merchant approval. 4. Payments Merchant subscription payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. BookApp never receives or stores your card or UPI credentials (PCI-DSS SAQ-A). Customer-to-merchant payment for the service itself happens directly between you and the Merchant, outside this platform, unless a specific in-app payment feature states otherwise. 5. Reviews Reviews may only be posted by a customer with a completed booking for that Merchant, once per booking. Reviews must not contain abusive, false, or unlawful content; BookApp may hide reviews that violate this policy. 6. Account suspension BookApp may suspend or block an account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or abuses the platform's booking or review systems. 7. Liability BookApp provides the platform "as is." We are not a party to the service contract between you and a Merchant and are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services booked through the platform. 8. Changes We may update these terms; the current version and its version number are always shown on this page. Material changes will be announced in-app. 9.
